Big Boy Bathtime!

Carson took his first bath with his big boy bath seat! He LOVED it! And it was much easier than dealing with a slippery baby in the bottom of the bathtub. Big sister, of course, had to jump in with him, but that just made it even more fun!

I can't believe how big my little guy is getting!

Such a Goofy Girl...

Camryn can be such a clown sometimes! Just last night she put on my snowmobile boots and was posing for pictures. "I want to take 5 pictures, Mom!" Everything is 5. Last weekend we spent the weekend at Craig's mom & dad's in McGregor, MN. I told her we were going to be staying 2 nights. She promptly started crying and said she did not want to stay 2 nights. When I asked why she said (while sobbing), "Because I want to stay 5 nights!" Such a silly girl!

Here are her 5 pictures...

50 Years & Going Strong

We celebrated my grandparent's 50th Anniversary on Sunday. Everything went without a hitch, and a great time was had by all. They were so appreciative of everything we had done to make the party a success.

It did get me thinking, though, about how long 50 years really is. Looking at it now, it seems as though 50 years is an eternity away! Although, I'm sure 50 years from now, I won't be saying that. I guess that's why they say to not even blink because things go so fast. I already see the meaning in that saying with my own kids. It seems not that long ago that Camryn had first entered our lives. Now she is 3 years old (going on 15) and we have our baby boy to complete our family, too.

Craig and I only have 46 years left until we can celebrate our own 50th Anniversary. It'll be here before we know it...

A New 'Do

Well, we had to do it....

Camryn has the most beautiful, blonde stick-straight hair you could imagine. It really is great. Thing is, when it got to about the middle of her back, and she no longer had the patience to let me brush it, something had to be done. It just sort of hung there. No style. No definition. I finally caved and called to make an appointment for her to get it cut. We decided on a cute bob, slightly angled, with tons of stacked layers in the back.

The result:

Now how cute is that?!?! It is so adorable on her! I love it so much! She did so well with getting it cut, too. She sat so still, the only thing she didn't care for was the shampoo bowl. She thought the water/soap was going to get in her eyes.

I am left wondering, however, how my 3 year old turned into a 6 year old in the matter of 30 minutes...

Our Big Boy!

Well, its official. Our baby boy is now mobile!! He accomplished his first barrel roll last night! From back to tummy all the way over to his back again. Then he got stuck against the entertainment system!

I just cannot believe how big he's getting!!!

Watch out world, here comes Carson!

New Year/New Blog

My New Year's resolution is to be better at documenting and celebrating the daily occurances in our lives. I figured what better way to accomplish that than with a blog! A way for us to look back and remember, and a way for you to keep up with us!

We've started 2009 by staying close to home. Its so nice to just hang out with our little family. Camryn counted us the other day, and said excitedly, "There are 4 people in our family!" She never ceases to amaze us with her knowledge.

Craig picked her up from Sunday School today, and brought her out to the local hardware store. Guess what they came home with???

A purple sled!!!

Here are a few pictures of the two of them breaking it in:
